OFFICE STYLE: The Krakow office of Autodesk is unconventional yet tailored to the Client’s needs. Created in a “modern industrial” style, warmed up with wood and colour. The spaces are bright and create an atmosphere conducive to work. Krakow Autodesk office, tailor-made
MAIN THEME: “Net effect” is the leitmotif of this office. Here you’ll find dense expanded metal mesh stretched across the ceilings and partly on the walls. At the entrance to the office, employees and guests are welcomed by an interesting, four-dimensional structure referencing the Autodesk logo. The huge letter A, made to special order, is made precisely from mesh.
PROJECT: In the office, you’ll also find numerous graphics, photos and murals, made to special order, depicting the most famous places in Krakow. They appeared here at the Client’s request, who wanted to bring the fabric of the city into the interior of Autodesk’s new headquarters. The office space is functional and flexible, so it can be quickly adapted to the current needs of its users. One such place is the kitchen, separated from the chillout zone by a curtain. These two spaces can serve not only for relaxing, preparing and eating meals, but also for holding meetings of the entire Krakow branch team. That’s why a projector was installed in the kitchen, and if the team wants to bond, the veneered table can be converted into a pool table. Employees in the open space also have smaller and larger separate rooms at their disposal, as well as a room with a treadmill, which they can use even during business phone calls.
CLIENT: Autodesk is an American company that has been creating and producing software and services for the architecture, engineering and entertainment industries for almost 40 years.
